What is CAE?

Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) is the discipline concerned with the use of computers and computational methods to study phenomena governed by the principles of mechanics. The applications that have been developed to support these activities are considered CAE tools. CAE tools are used to analyze the robustness and performance of components and assemblies.

In the future, CAE techniques will be an important source of information for design teams in decision making and product development.
